APPLICATIONS:
Where NEC jurisdiction applies; as Type MC cable, 90 deg.C. in wet or dry locations; for installation aerially, in conduit, cable trays, in underground ducts, with messenger or direct buried, for power and control circuits not exceeding 600 volts in manufacturing and processing plants, substations and generating stations. When installed per the NEC, cables meet requirements of OSHA. Permitted for use in Class I, Class II, Division 2, Class III Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations per the NEC. Suitable for direct burial.
 
CONSTRUCTION:
Three-, or four conductors of stranded copper, XLP (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulated, phase-identified, conductors cabled with a stranded copper ground wire in one interstice, cable tape, aluminum or galvanized steel interlocked armor, black PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) jacket overall, surface printed.
 
STANDARDS:
*   Conductors conform to ASTM B-3 & B-8.
*   Insulation conforms to UL Standard 44, and is approved as Type XHHW-2.
*   MC Type Cable per UL 1569.
*   Cables designed to pass the IEEE-383 ribbon burner flame test.
*   Cable suitable for Sunlight Resistant, Direct Buried and “For CT Use” applications.
*   Cables meet requirements of ICEA S-95-658.
